Marabou Mafia started with a simple love for fishing and the satisfaction of catching fish on something made by hand.

What began as tying crappie jigs for myself quickly turned into experimenting with different colors, materials, and combinations—and eventually into Marabou Mafia.

Every jig is tied by hand with attention to the little details that matter on the water. I’m constantly testing new patterns, tweaking designs, and looking for combinations that crappie just can’t seem to leave alone.

But Marabou Mafia is about more than selling jigs. I want to build a brand around the fishing community, the people who enjoy being on the water, swapping stories, trying new techniques, and chasing that next big slab.

The mafia theme just makes it a little more fun. From The Godfather to The Hitman, The Don, Omertà, and the rest of the family, every jig has its own identity and attitude.

Whether you’re fishing brush piles, docks, standing timber, or your favorite secret spot, the goal is simple:

Give the fish an offer they can’t refuse.
